HUMP DAY : RETHINKING DRINKING

Since you’ve gotten to college or maybe even before then, people have been telling you stories/trying to convince you why consuming alcohol isn’t always the best idea. But it’s almost always the same ole same ole about having your judgement being impaired, having embarrassing moments and waking up with regrets.

But now there is a new argument to add to the list: How many calories do you consume on a night now drinking.

In the article Rethinking Drinking, the writer points out that the calorie intake from alcohol provides little nutrients and could contribute to unwanted weight gain which could ultimately be problematic if frequent drinking is a part of your weekly routine.
