TUESDAY RECIPE: OSWEGO GREEN SMOOTHIE

Despite being from the University of Texas, this green smoothie screams Oswego! It’s green color and icy cold deliciousness is perfect for this time of year in the Land of Oz.

Key: DH – Available in the Dining Hall

Ingredients

1 ½ Cup Spinach (DH)

1 Banana (DH)

1 Cup Canned or Frozen Fruit (peaches, pineapples, or mangos work great!)

1 Cup Coconut Milk (But if you don’t have access to these difficult-to-find ingredients, water or milk make acceptable alternatives.) (DH)

*If Fruit is not already frozen, use an additional ½ Cup of Ice)

Directions:

  1. Begin by cutting the banana into small, round slices.
  2. Put all of the ingredients in a blender and mix.
  3. Enjoy!
