TUESDAY RECIPE: AVOCADO & BERRIES WRAP

Getting bored of that turkey, lettuce and tomato wrap? Well here is a new and exotic choice to get you out of your funk. This interesting combination of mixed berries and avocados works perfectly. By providing both the sweet taste of mixed berries and the buttery taste of an avocado in one wrap, you get everything you could want and more. Afraid of this dish’s lack of meat? Well, the avocado certainly replaces the protein you would get from any few slices of meat you would have used in a regular wrap. Also, the pecans add an extra crunch that is to die for.

Ingredients

2 Tbsp. Of Low Fat Cream Cheese (DH)

½ Cup Of Mixed Berries (Blueberries, Strawberries, Raspberries, Blackberries) (DH)

¼ Of A Medium Avocado (DH)

1 Tbsp. Of Chopped Pecans (DH)

1 100% Whole Wheat Wrap (DH)

Directions:

  1. Spread cream cheese onto the wrap
  2. Add the mixed berries to the wrap
  3. Cut the avocado up into small pieces and spread them out evenly throughout the wrap
  4. Sprinkle the pecans onto the wrap.
  5. Wrap it up, and enjoy!
