TUESDAY RECIPE: FRESH FRUIT POPS!
Lately it can feel as though Mother Nature has decided to bless Oswego with heat waves and humidity. Today, we’ll be sharing with you an easy and healthy way to be ready for these days of sweltering classes and residence halls so that you can prepare and refresh yourself.
Key: DH – Available in the Dining Hall
2-3 Kiwis, peeled & sliced (DH)
1 Package of fresh strawberries, sliced (DH)
2-3 Tangerine oranges, peeled & sliced (DH)
1 Package of fresh blueberries (DH)
Coconut Water (or Milk)
1 Set of popsicle molds (Ice cube trays also work!)
Optional: assorted fruits
- Place sliced pieces of fruit into the molds (Spaces should form between the fruit).
- Pour coconut water into molds until it is nearly filled.
- Freeze the molds overnight, or until solid.
- Once frozen, remove from mold and serve immediately.
