WEEKEND PREVIEW: FOLC, BENCH PRESS & MORE!

This weekend there are a lot of things going on that everybody can enjoy! Here are just a few:

Friday & Saturday, March 6th & 7th

Future Oswego Leaders Conference. Featuring Dr. Derek Greenfield (Friday), Dr. Michael Christakis (Saturday) and notable alumni in business, education, science & comminication. Located in Marano Campus Center. Register at oswego.edu/odk. FREE.

Friday March 6th

Open Skate from 12pm-2pm: If you enjoy ice-skating or just want a fun workout stop by the campus center ice arena. $2 skate rental.

Your Personality Type and Career Workshop: 3pm-4pm Room 145 Marano Campus Center – If you want to explore possible career options within your area of interest this is for you. Preregistration is required email majorexploration@oswego.edu

Theatre Performance: “Circle Mirror Transformation” 7:30pm-10:00pm in the Lab Theatre at Hewitt Union – A student honors production. This production is $7 for the SUNY Oswego students

 Saturday March 7th

Rice Creek Ramble 11am-12pm at the Rice Creek Field Station: If you like nature, a guided tour will be taking place showing the visitors what creatures live around the Field Station and a little bit more about them. Program size is limited. Call 312-6677 the morning of to check trail conditions

Bench Press Competition at Swetman Gymnasium. Starts at 1:00 participants should come at 12:30. Preregister at either fitness center or at the day of the event. Free T-shirt to first 50 registered. Refreshments will be served!

Group Exercise Marathon in Cooper Fitness Center 12-5pm A great time to try out a Group Exercise Class you may have not gotten a chance to previously. You can come and go as you please refreshments will be served!

Another performance of the “Circle Mirror Transformation” if you missed the first one! 7:30 pm – 10:00pm

Sunday March 8th

The final performance of the “Circle Mirror Transformation” 2:00-4:30pm

Concert: Juan LaManna and the Oswego College Community Orchestra 3:00pm in Sheldon Ballroom. It is a Piano recital filled with diverse music. Free to students!

Another Open Skate from 6:00 – 7:30pm in the Ice Arena come by if you missed the first one!
