Description: Come see the geometric art and design creations of artist James Gyre (founder of Naked Geometry) and artist/illustrator Laura Gyre. This is an event part of “The Love Song of R. Theater performance: “The Mouse Trap”

Description: Plot-A group of strangers is stranded in a lodge during a snowstorm, one of whom is a murderer. Suspects include the newly married couple house keepers, a spinster with a curious background, an architect, a retired Army major, a strange little man who claims his car has overturned in a drift, and a jurist who makes life miserable for everyone. Into their midst comes a policeman, who no sooner arrives, when the jurist is killed. A classic who done it by one of the world’s most famous mystery writers. Description: Will feature tales of nature, animals’ wild ways, and how people relate to the natural world. Stories are designed for elementary-aged children but everyone is welcome! SUNY Oswego’s Rice Creek Field Station offers Story Hour in support of SUNY’s partnership with the Read Aloud 15 Minutes national initiative. Description: John and Cathy Cadley are one of the area’s most entertaining and popular duos. Joining them will be John Dancks on bass and Perry Cleveland on mandolin. Their repertoire draws on the traditional bluegrass of Bill Monroe and the Stanley Brothers, the tight harmonies of the Louvin Brothers, the acoustic sounds of Alison Krauss and Claire Lynch, and John’s own originals. Stop by for an evening of soulful duet singing and tasty picking on guitar and mandolin.
