WHERE WE WERE: OCTOBER 4TH – OCTOBER 11TH
Over at the Lifestyles Center, events and going ons flow through constantly. Every week, we find ourselves putting on new programs, attending other’s, and educating the student body as a whole. With so many things going on, it can seem hard to figure it all out and attend. Below we have compiled a list of everywhere we were this past week. Don’t miss out on these great opportunities in the future.
OPEN MIC NIGHT on Thursday
We had another great showing at Open Mic with plenty of performers. With diverse performers and a short showing of Clean Slate Living’s talent, the night was a success.
JUNGLE JAM on Friday
We had a great time promoting alcohol safety on Friday! We gave out t-shirts, played some games, and got to see a performance by Clean Slate Living. Thanks to them and the P2Ps because Jungle Jam turned out great. We had tons of people show up and sign our Good Sam Pledge.
CLEAN SLATE LIVING PERFORMANCE
As a part of Jungle Jam, motivational performers and speakers gave us a great show. Combing hip-hop with heartfelt stories, the group showed students that being safe and rewriting your tomorrow can be achieved.
WE HUNG A BILLBOARD
In preparation for this coming week’s “It’s Okay Not To Drink” campaign, peer educators chalked up our sidewalks and hung some signage!
